The Legal Stuff *
Ok here are the ‘boring’ rules & regulations but please take the time to look through them when applying to retail at Rosedale Chambers Market.
1.There must be a professional approach to merchandising & presentation of stalls.
2.If there are damages to the venue due to negligence of the stall holder/retailer, costs will be invoiced & paid by the stallholder/retailer.
3.Product security is the responsibility of the stall holder/retailer
4.There must only be 1 business per stall
5.Stallholders/retailers have agreed to terms of Public Liability Insurance & it does not cover product insurance, this is the responsibility of the stallholder/retailer
6.Stall holders/retailers may NOT distribute or display any marketing information on market day other than their own business
7.The stallholder/retailer hereby indemnifies & holds Rosedale Chambers Markets Committee & its owners harmless against all claims or loss arising from connection with or in relation to the market
8.All products should adhere to Australian Safety Standards for children
9.All stallholders/retailers must give Rosedale Chambers Markets Committee permission to use their images, business name & website text for Rosedale Chambers Markets promotional use
10.Payment for your stall at Rosedale Chambers Markets Committee must be paid within 7 days of receiving your successful applicant email (on applied to selected markets).
11.Only products listed & approved by Rosedale Chambers Market Committee may be sold at Market. If you wish to add new products please just let us know.
12.Stalls cannot be shared or sold to another business.
13.Stallholders/retailers are responsible for leaving their stall site & surrounding area clean & tidy as they found it. DO NOT use market bins as these are for customers only. Please store your rubbish (boxes/papers etc) & then take them home with you.
14.Stallholders/retailers must confine their displays & signs to their stall site
15.Outside stalls using marquees must be secured or weighted down at all times (sand weights).
16.Food stallholders/retailers must be registered with the markets local council or street trade & have the appropriate insurance& licenses.
17. Rosedale Chambers Markets Committee accepts no responsibility for adverse weather & no refunds will be given for this reason.
18.Rosedale Chambers Markets Committee has the right to withdraw the right to trade of any stallholder/retailer in dispute with any persons.
19.Rosedale Chambers market committee has the right to reject any stallholder/retailer who they believe does not comply with the stated regulations.
20.Please ensure all exits are clear at all times in the event of an emergency.
